Refund Policy
Effective July 6, 2026
Because our products are temperature-sensitive laboratory reagents, our return and refund rules are stricter than for consumer goods. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Eligible returns
Unopened, unused product in its original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the product price. Shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
2. Non-refundable items
- Any vial or bottle whose seal has been opened or tampered with.
- Any product that has been reconstituted, diluted, or transferred out of its original container.
- Any product that has been exposed to temperatures outside its stated storage range (temperature-abused).
- Bacteriostatic water and other single-use consumables once opened.
- Any product where the tamper-evident seal is broken.
3. Damaged, defective, or lost shipments
- If your shipment arrives visibly damaged, refuse delivery if possible and notify us the same day.
- If a product is damaged, leaking, or out of spec on arrival, email us at research@pricks.co within 72 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. We will replace the affected item at no charge.
- If tracking shows a package as lost in transit for more than 7 business days after the last scan, contact us and we will open a carrier claim and reship or refund at our discretion.
4. Order cancellations
You may cancel an order for any reason before it ships. Once a shipping label has been generated or the package has been handed to the carrier, cancellation is no longer possible and the order must be handled as a return.
5. Refund processing
Card refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Manual-payment refunds (Zelle/Venmo) are returned to the same handle the payment came from.
6. How to request a refund
Email research@pricks.co with your order number, the reason for the return, and any supporting photos. Do not ship product back until we have confirmed the return in writing and provided a return address. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
7. Chargebacks
If you have an issue with an order please contact us first — we will always try to resolve it. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being closed and future orders declined.
